Race list

The list can be opened from the main menu or by pressing F5.

For every race, simple and complex rating is calculated, as in GV.

The simple rating is equal to:

(Ind*0.75+Pop*0.25)*(D+W+S+C)/4 The complex rating is calculated using the following algorithm: For every race, values Pro = (Ind*0.75+Pop*0.25) and Tech = D+W+S+C are calculated.

then, for all the races with nonzero Pro the coefficients Pro and Tech are added and their averages are found.

For the given race,

Cost = (Tech - Av.Tech)*5000 + (Pro - Av.Pro)*10

Here Cost is the estimate, how many production units is the advantage of the given race as compared to the average. The difference in techs in multiplied by 5000 (i.e. the cost), the difference in Pro is multiplied by the price of 1 CAP and also by 2 to take account of the transport expenses.

If Cost>0, then Level = Cost/Av.Pro

Otherwise, Level = Cost/Pro.

Thus, we get the Level rating. If it is >0, it means that it is how much an average race needs to get even with us, if it is <0, then it is the negative of the number of turns it will take us to get to the level of the average race.
Use menu to switch between the two types of rating.

To see changes from th previous turn, use Change button. To return to the levels, push it again.

History button allows to see the history of the selected race.

From the race list, you may declare war and peace, give votes (G+ only), send mail and broadcast (#wall) messages (G+ only).

All the other interface is the same as in other windows, that is, search, sorting, queries and selections are available. Typing the name of a race on the keyboard will do quick search for it in the race list.

In the race list you may build a rating table of changes from a given turn and put the results in the clipboard, to invoke the function press Ctrl+Shift+Ins.

As from the map, it is possible to send hypercast messages (G+ only).

Shift+F2 will center the map on the selected planet, and Shift+F5 will open the race list and select the owner.

Also, it is possible to send out ships one-by-one to the selected planets, to do so you need to select the groups in the Groups list and use the Send Spy command in the planet menu.
